Alan Mendleson
Alan’s passion for homebuilding began at the age of 16 when he picked up a book on “framing.” He fell in love with the process of framing and dedicated his life to building the “skeletons” of homes. Over a 40-year career in framing, Alan built the largest framing company in the Delaware, Maryland and Virginia area. This experience provided Mendleson Development with a competitive edge in the home building industry as the framing of the home is one of the most important steps in building a quality home. Alan personally inspects each of his homes ensuring customers receive the best possible product.

Enid takes care of the visual side of the company. As the co-owner and designer, she puts herself in the customer’s shoes and designs a home with their lifestyle in mind. Her passion has created a wide variety of homes with unmatchable interior finishes over the past 40 years.
